Lace Dresses Femme Off the Shoulder V-Neck Women Red Dress

I bought this dress in Navy and after trying it on for the first time I immediately ordered it in Red as well. I couldn't get over the quality for the price. The Red dress just arrived and I'm equally as pleased with it. I'm 5 ft, 130lbs and the small fit me perfectly. The lace part falls just below my knees when I'm standing which may be a little long for other petite women but I'm fine with it. I can wear a regular skin tone bra and the straps aren't visible through the lace which is a huge pro for me. This dress as classy yet sexy. It covers everything but the cut and shape makes it really flattering. The material looks expensive and feels comfortable. I was easily able to bend and carry around a toddler so I imagine dancing would be a breeze in it.

It was.... ok.I bought this for a friend's work Christmas party. I'm in my early 30s, 5'10, 135 lbs. (Really tall and slender but with some curves). I was looking for something subtly sexy but still very classy. This unfortunately was not it.Cons:- The small fit a bit looser and longer than I wanted.-The lace, instead of being sexy, just made me look older.Pros:-The green was gorgeous. Beautiful color dress that would work well with a range of complexions.- The small fit well in the chest (34DD).I actually saw someone (a few years older, shorter, slender build, lighter complexion) at the party in the same exact dress and it looked really lovely on her. Just not the best for my body type. I could have "made it work" but it was not a showstopper for me.

I am 5'1, 170lbs, 38C. I ordered Large. I couldn't close the zipper. The dress I received was different from the picture it has short sleeves and the neckline is different. It is pretty and I liked the quality of the lace, but the fabric is not stretchy, so I couldn't close it. I don't think it is too comfortable, but I didn't wear it at all so I can't say. For me, it is not the type of dress that "helps" your silhouette. If I have had more time I would have tried a size up, but the event was the following day so I had to return it.

I ordered this at the last minute to wear to an evening wedding. Despite the positive reviews, I assumed I would probably end up returning it and making that dreaded trip to the mall to dress shop. Even shopping in person it's difficult for me to find something that fits well, is tasteful, and doesn't need a lot of alterations or make my body look like a stuffed sausage! The dress exceeded my expectations, particularly for the price point. I ordered the XL based on other reviews and size charts, and it fit beautifully (5'4" 185 lb, 38DD, usually size 14, sometimes a 16, and carry weight in midsection). And it was SO comfortable, not hot or itchy as lace can sometimes be, especially in summer heat! I did wear shaping garment underneath to smooth my tummy but honestly it was flattering enough that I probably could have worn it without. I got so many compliments, and was asked if I purchased the dress at Nordstrom, but I didn't spill my secret! I've rarely had a dress make me feel so pretty, as I do tend to be insecure about my weight. I think this is the type of dress that flatters many body types, but especially if yours is similar to mine, just do yourself a favor and give this dress a try!

First, the plum color is much lighter in person which is a major disappointment. I would have returned it but this was a last min replacement dress for a rental that didn’t fit. The “M” fits closer to a US women’s size 8. I’m a 34DD and the top fits snug in the bust and perfect in the hips. I’m going to try getting the dress taken in in the waist for future wears. If you have smaller hips or bust definitely size down.

I typicallly wear a size 10 dress so I bought the large. It was big at the top and loose on the sides. I probably would have been able to fit into the medium. It has more stretch than expected. I'm short and the dress hung longer than I expected, but it was very nicely made and well worth the price.

I ordered this dress for my graduation and it really is of a very high quality for the price. Upon first receiving it, it looked like it might be a bit small, but it fit perfectly. I ordered the XL and I am 5'7", 180lbs. While there isn't a ton of give to this dress, it doesn't fit too tight and allows enough room to sit and move. The inner lining can be slightly sheer in some bright light settings, but nothing a slip couldn't fix if needed!I would definitely recommend this dress!

The lace on this dress was really pretty and I felt the fit was flattering. The one thing that bothered me was the cut in the arm pit area. When I lifted up my arms, there was a gaping area where my bra showed (and I wouldn’t have gone bra-less and risked a gaping hole wardrobe malfunction either). I decided to return, but it might work with a slip or if you are larger chested than I am.
