I ordered a medium based on reviews and it fits pretty well. I usually wear a small in other clothes, a 2 / 4 in jeans, but I have a bigger bottom half. I am 5'3" and 135 lb just for reference. It is very comfy but it is sort of thin. You will want to make sure that whatever you are wearing underneath does not give you lumps or buldges. The only thing I am not too fond of is the flare at the end of the sleeve. But other than that I really like this. I chose the Snowman one so that I can wear it throughout the winter and not just at Christmas time.
This is a super cute dress. The quality of the fabric is a little thinner (slightly inferior quality) than other dresses in this style and price point that I've purchased, however, the colors are bold and bright and the thinner fabric may make this dress a little bit cooler than some of my other "retro" dresses. I know that the fit and flare shape works on my body type, so based on the reviews, I ordered my true size. I am 5'5", 38" bust and a size 10-12, so I got the large and it fits like a glove. I can wear it as is or if going for the full "look" I have a crinoline that will be perfect. Still, for the price, you really can't beat it. All hail Amazon Prime. I have a toddler and never get to go shopping for myself, I bought this dress on my lunch break on a Wednesday and had it in my hand by Friday morning.
Much more comfy than an ugly sweater! We received so many compliments wearing these out. The 2nd dress from the right pertains to this review, but were all ordered from Amazon. The prints are bright and fun and the material is like a stretch polyester. I hope to see these for more holidays like Valentines and 4th of July so we can dress like this more often!
I read views before ordering and based on them saying this runs small, I ordered a large. This item arrived exactly as anticipated and I wa s planning to wear it to my office Christmas party 2 days later. The pkg was labeled L but the dress was labeled S. I tried it on anyway and found that it fit but was a little too snug across the chest for my style. I decided to return it but my co-workers convinced me to keep the dress and wear it to our party. To hide the troubling area I wore a denim vest and it was comfortable and fun. I also wore leggings under the dress because it hit just above my knee and it was a little cold. Another reason to wear the vest was because I had a Santa printed over one breast. I knew that something like that could happen and got a big laugh out of it. It's a fun dress and I'm glad I kept it.
I got sooooooooo many compliments on this dress. It is really cute for the price I paid for it. Some people said it was made cheap but you really cant tell from the wear. I feel like it needs a belt, so I added one from my closet and it really worked well with the dress. I think that it was flattering and held it's shape, didn't wrinkle much for how long I wore it. It was very appropriate for an office party, Halloween party, or even just because! The theme is day of the dead so it really is not scary or pigeonholed to wearing just during October.
